Job Description

 Scorpios Bodrum is looking for a Chief Technician in a rapidly growing environment in the Hospitality Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily technical maintenance operations and assisting the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Management: Manage the technical aspects of Scorpios facilities, including all spaces and recreational areas. Ensure that all technical systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems, are properly maintained and operational.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of Scorpios equipment and machinery, including kitchen appliances, audiovisual equipment, lighting systems, and water features. Develop maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all technical systems and equipment comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Emergencies: To be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect our guests and employees, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency. To act as quickly and responsibly as possible to return the building to its normal operating status.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team and related departments.
• Keep all records of repairs and testing
• Primary contact to communicate and coordinate work from other departments.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with developing and managing all engineering staff members.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree,
• Experience as Chief Technician more than 2 years, and preferably experienced in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to manage technical staff, prepare reports, and monitor hotel technical operations.
• Pleasant personality and is able to work well in a team environment.
• Open to personal development and training.
• Skilled in human relations.
• Aiming for a career in the tourism sector while prioritizing guest satisfaction
• Able to adapt to flexible working hours and work in shifts
• Completed military service
