MISSION:

Management of suppliers and accounts payable. Management of tax declarations and tax account postings. Assisting to reporting. Management of month-end closure.

FUNCTION:

As an Accounting Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Processing of incoming invoices including Fixed Assets assuring of approvals and compliance rules, booking according to the accounting policies
• Following Intercompany transactions and  all reconciliations
• Active role in SAP/FI developments and process improvements
• Controlling transactions of AR, AP, FA and GL accounts
• Preparation of monthly tax, VAT and other declarations and submit to the tax authority in a timely and correct manner
• Sending the e-ledgers to the authorities in timely manner
• Preparation of month-end close journal entries and performing related postings
• Assists preparation of month-end reports
• Working closely with departments to follow up KPI’s.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in accounting within a multinational manufacturing company.
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Knowledge of local tax legislation and experience in preparing tax declarations.
• Good knowledge of Turkish General accounting principles.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Preferably, experience in Big 4 Audit companies.
• Preferably, experience in SAP.
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management effectively.
• High level of communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
