The User Experience (UX) Manager reports to the Director of Product

The candidate will need to have gathered at least 5 years in working experience as an executive in a product industry, spearheading user engagement and customer experience. He will also need to have a proven and successful working experience in information architecture, user experience design, interaction design, or a similar role for at least 3 years in his experience.

Responsibilities:

• Identify improvements for UX design (e.g. look and feel, color, spacing, etc.)
• Help UX Designers grow their skills and experience
• Conducts reviews on Design library and Design system additions
• Recommend UX technical and process improvements
• Improve scheduling process to balance necessary UX improvements
• Works with all parts of the organization (e.g. Backend, Frontend, Build, etc.) to improve overall UX
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially experience with executive-level communications
• Ability to make concrete progress in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge
• Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research
• Collect and analyze user behavior through server logs, online experiments (A/B testing), benchmark studies, lab studies, and surveys
• Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Google Analytics, GTM and Visual Web Site Optimizer.
• Proficiency with pre-visualization software (e.g. Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Solid visual awareness with understanding of basic design principles like typography, layout, composition, and color theory
• Experience defining the high-level strategy (the why) and creating design deliverables (the how) based on research.
• Experience driving organizational change with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Passion for creating visually pleasing and intuitive user experiences.
• Collaborative team spirit with great communication skills.
