R&D Project Engineer

- For our location Izmir, Turkey in the R&D Department we are offering a job opportunity as

- University Degree with a related engineering specialization.

- Technical background with a strong understanding of mechanical or automotive engineering.

- At least one year experience, preferably experience with designing steering or suspension components.

- Knowledge in steering, braking or chassis system in automotive industry or other relevant mechanical and hydraulic applications.

- Knowledge of automotive customer standards and requirements.

- At least two years of experience with 3D design systems. (Catia V5 preferred)

- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and assembling technologies.

- Basic knowledge of design requirements for products made of steel and aluminium materials.

- Well structured, organized, efficient and accurate working method.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interaction.

- Adaptive to efficient teamwork

- Fluency in English (spoken and written) & German is preferred.

- No restriction for travelling & living abroad (around 30%)

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Creation of new products based on OE customer specifications

- Preparation/Organization of detailed design studies, product specifications/drawings, simulations and calculations.

- Align the activities with colleagues in the Headquarter Dielingen & Izmir.

- Technical project management with APQP team based on different OE customer expectations.

- Create test specifications.

- Support testing & analysis, define test benches & specify test methods and procedures

- Clearly create project related documents as test results, process parameters in a structured manner
