Yalıkavak Marina, the #1 Superyacht Marina in Turkey, is seeking a full-time COMMERCIAL SPECIALIST who can bring their industry knowledge to work in an exciting and fast-paced environment.
The primary purpose of this position is to protect and enhance Yalikavak Marina rental stores and stand areas asset by identifying center objectives and through the direction of subordinates and the performance of income producing activity, translate these objectives into operations, marketing, leasing and other profit enhancing programs.
The Commercial Specialist will report to the Commercial Manager and cooperate with the PR Manager & Event Manager and focus on the Loyalty, Sales, Events and Entertainment, Marketing, Advertising, PR, Branding and Sponsorship and Finance functions to provide for maximum impact on the Marina’s financial performance. S/he will perform financial analysis, develop financial planning processes and design and implement overall business plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• The successful candidates’ responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  
• Relevant university degree preferably Industrial Engineering, Economics or Business Administartion
  
• Excellent knowledge of Excel as well as proficiency in other Microsoft Office Programs,
  
• Ability to develop and establih Optimization and Reporting,
  
• Ability to formulate business plans, perform business case analysis, pricing formulation and market trend projection to align with overall organization strategic objectives,
  
• Understanding of financial parameters such as EBIT, cash flow, KPIs etc.
  
• Analytical & result oriented profile with the ability to deliver accurate results within tight deadlines,
  
• Proficient in reviewing and generating contracts,
  
• Strong communication & presentation skills,
  
• No restrictions to travel,
  
• Multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritise different tasks to meet deadlines,
  
• Team player that would not hesitate to take on additional responsibilities when needed.
  
• Exceptional persuasive communication and interpersonal skills - effectively communicate and work with all customers and levels of the organization,
  
• Preferably good command and both written and spoken English,
  
• Extensive network within the retail industry and prior experience dealing with luxury brands would be highly advantageous
  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support sales & marketing strategy and decision making process by providing tangible financial analysis and commercial forecasting,
  
• Manage and retain relationships with existing clients & Increase client base,
  
• Manage complex contract negotiations and work with legal counsel (if required),
  
• Use all the available tools for data analysis,
  
• Propose the sales volume budget and the forecast of commercial and assigned structure costs,
  
• Monitor & track competitors in the market by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, conjunctures, new approaches and competitive activities,
  
• Recommend changes in products, service, & policy by evaluating results & competitive developments,
  
• Shares periodic reports to directly Commercial Manager,
  
• Defines the commercial priorities, according to Trade Marketing plans (pricing, promotional campaigns, display implementations, etc.),
  
• Develop the overall strategy for the tenant mix of the shopping mall to achieve optimal rental and ensure full occupancy,
  
• Following up the portfolio of new leases and existing as well as renewal,
  
• Professionally represent the Company and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants.
