Wyser is the international company within Gi Group Holding in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.

We are looking for Production Manager to our business partner, which is a global leader in food (bakery products) industry.

The Production Manager oversees and directs the activities of shift supervisors across multiple shifts within the production department to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of high-quality products. Typically, this role involves supervising three or more supervisors and approximately 100 employees.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates production operations utilizing common equipment, methods, and standards across multiple shifts.
• Plans resources, including personnel, to meet production demands.
• Guides shift supervisors in establishing and managing production schedules within established procedures and budgets.
• Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) such as variance, production, quality, and injury reports.
• Maintains production efficiency and quality, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations to minimize workplace injuries and meet regulatory standards.
• Provides guidance to supervisors on interpreting union contracts, adhering to company policies, and maintaining quality control standards.
• Collaborates closely with various functions at the group level.
• Maintains regular communication with suppliers and contractors regarding ongoing or planned investments.
• Provides input and participates in new investment projects.
• Participates in product innovation and new product development activities.
• Promotes awareness among employees regarding the importance of adopting an energy management system.
• Gathers, organizes, and shares data and information.
• Assists in improving documents and processes.
• Supports implementation tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical fields such as Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in food & beverage industry is a must.
• Profound understanding of machinery and production processes.
• Knowledgeable in quality control standards, specifically HACCP.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Skilled in managing and motivating teams, fostering close relationships with staff.
• Decisive and committed decision-maker.
• Innovative in proposing and implementing solutions.
• Familiarity with efficiency and client satisfaction metrics such as SLAs and KPIs.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Passionate about food and its cultural significance.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus, as production data is managed using this system.
