Cloud Services Specialist

We are seeking a Cloud Services Specialist with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to Cloud Services Operations Manager of Vodafone Turkey. 

The accountabilities of this role are:

• Follow technology to design and develop new collaboration, cloud & hosting services for Vodafone’s enterprise customers, taking care of availability and performance criteria. Search for new platforms for better performance of cloud services with new features 
• Provide 7*24 2nd level support to infrastructure and customer problems with SLAs. 
• Ensure that ISO 27001 and 22301 standards, procedures, plans implementation. 
• Design, setup and maintain cloud services infrastructure:

      -Take necessary actions to prevent possible problems in Cloud Services platforms. 

      -Planning high availability and recovery of systems 

      -Solve problems that might occur on these systems working in cooperation with vendors, outsourced companies and other teams in Vodafone Net. 

      -Maintain security of systems working in cooperation with security related teams in Vodafone Net. 

      -Plan and attend operations on the systems for fixing issues and keeping updated with new features

• Prepare documentation of services according to company policies 
• Work with vendors to implement service improvements; RFP and POC scenarios, planning and deployment 
• Use management tools to 
• Follow and report problems/capacity on the infrastructure 
• Develop proactive and reactive problem solution methods
• Analyse system logs and prepare capacity reports 
• Developing and managing partner ecosystem to deliver datacenter/application migration or management process 
• Making R&D activities and running PoCs to choose the best technologies that is cost-effective, accordance with the standards.

• University Degree with Computer ,Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering 
• Minimum 4 years experience in ICT sector. Preferably in system integrator or vendor. 
• Position requires broad and deep knowledge of hardware and software products within the following technology areas and manufacturers. Multi-vendor expertise and experience is highly desired listed within each of the following technical areas:

      -Virtualization (Vmware, Microsoft, Citrix)

      -Cloud Orchestration (Vmware vCD, Microsoft SC, OpenStack)

      -Data Protection & Disaster Recovery & Replication (Veeam, Zerto, Commvault, Dell, EMC Recover Point, HP             StoreOnce, Symantec)

      -Servers and Converged Infrastructure platforms (Cisco, Dell, HP, Oracle, IBM/Lenovo)

      -Storage (Hitachi, EMC, HP 3PAR, NetApp)

• Hands on expertise in Vmware Vcloud Director & NSX. 
• Hands on expertise in Veeam Backup& Replication, Veeam Cloud Connect. 
• Deep knowledge in Cloud service providers like(Azure, Amazon, etc.), hybrid cloud models and micro services offerings.
• Good understanding of email security (antispam/antivirus) and messaging protocols like SMTP, POP3, MAPI, TLS, etc. 
• Deep knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Server family like Active Directory, Exchange, Lync, SCOM, SCCM, SQL.
  
• Related Vmware , Cisco , Microsoft , HP , Dell , EMC , NetAPP , IBM , Checkpoint , Fortinet, Juniper certifications are plus. 
• Military service completed (for male candidates) 
• Very good command of English
  
• Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills 
• Strong analytical skills 
• Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements
