Position Summary

Responsible for foreign purchasing of Turkey operations

Responsible for foreign purchasing of Energy Services

Following material delivery to related places

Keeping trackers of POs

Sourcing new vendors

Negotiation with vendors for good payment terms and prices

Duties and Responsibilities (Including QHSE)

•Responsible for local and foreign purchasing for Turkey/Romania/Iraq operations

•Responsible for all purchasing activities of Maintenance and Fabrication Department

•Following Viking International Limited’s QHSE&T policies and procedures in order to create a safe working environment at all times

•Performing all other duties and tasks assigned by the department management

•Tracking payments from Finance Department

•Tracking purchase orders delivery status

•Sourcing new vendors for Romania operations especially in European vendors

•Collecting quotations from different vendors

•Searching materials for good quality and considering prices

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience Required

•Minimum 2 years direct international procurement (long experience in deadline Projects is a plus )

•Work experience in an international and diverse cultural environment

•Strong troubleshooting and problem identification skills

•Strong technical background in all aspects of Supply Chain

•Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills

•Ability to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis and to follow-up on all tasking to completion

•Ability to claim and accept ownership of processes, and to provide appropriate leadership when called upon

•Ability work under stress

•Ability to finalize all purchasing process on time

•Ability to work with team

Technical or Vocational Education & Training (Including HSE)

•Graduated from university of engineering, economics, management and related departments

•Be fluent in spoken and written English

•Proficient computer skills in office software and company proprietary software
