For our Finance team at Azerion Head Quarters in Amsterdam we are looking for a Finance Controller.

What you will be doing in this role

You will be driving the accurate and timely fulfilment of various accounting functions for Azerion, including all our entities. You will be developing and maintaining accounting controls and processes. The role is very much hands on with responsibility for a global European business. 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Drive the accounting and reporting function of multiple legal entities within the Azerion structure

Monthly closing and reporting in SAP

Recording of payments

Bank reconciliation

Preparation of journals, accruals and reconciliations of key areas

Intercompany transactions and interest calculations

Work directly with Accounts Payable and subsidiary finance teams to improve and ensure accurate timely processing of AP, AR and intercompany transactions.

Prepare/revise annual statutory financial statements and filing reports.

Drive assurance processes with the external and internal auditors

VAT accounting and compliance for our Dutch entities

Assist the Finance Director in developing and implementing robust internal procedures

Ensuring adherence to company policy, Dutch GAAP and IFRS

What you are able to bring to the table

Extensive experience with administration of multiple entities in an international group

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; professional accounting highly preferred

Experience in a global- multicurrency and subsidiary environment

First management experience is required

Strong verbal and written skills in English

Ability to Multi-task and prioritize in a highly demanding, dynamic and fast paced environment
