QUALIFICATIONS : 

• University degree in related Engineering disciplines 
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Purchasing Buyer or Specialist or Supply Chain Specialist in a manufacturing / engineering department 
• Knowledge & Experience on part and tooling 
• Fluent in English 
• Flexible and able to adapt to learn Toyota methods and philosophy, 
• Self motivated with good communication skills, teamwork oriented 
• No military service obligation (for male candidates) 
• Willing to live in Adapazarı or İzmit  
• Flexibility to travel to other Toyota European Manufacturing Center or suppliers on business trips & international assignments. 

Job Purpose : Analysis of the supplier’s and toolmaker’s part and tool quotation deeply and widely using 5 why analysis and give feedback/target to the suppliers and toolmakers. To create sustainable technical expertise on supplier's part and tool so that supplier parts/tools of all Purchasing Sections can be purchased with minimum cost and best quality all over the world. 

Context : Job environment consists of toolmakers, suppliers, purchasing buyers and other TME departments who are impacted by supplier part and tool/mould. Worldwide best cost and best quality suppliers or toolmakers are identified, part and tool quotation received, evaluated and target set to suppliers and toolmakers. Other department’s directions about supplier's part and tooling are taken into account. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: Working for the purchasing team and develop and manage all the part and tool buying activities 

Part Purchasing : 

• Lead all the commercial relationship between Toyota and the suppliers which are located all over Turkey and Europe 
• Buying stamping and plastic part for the plants in Europe 
• Working together with suppliers closely and reach optimum price level 
• Handling all the commercial issues related to the suppliers in scope 

Tool Purchasing :

• Manages all the commercial relationship between Toyota and the toolmakers which are located in all of the world 
• Buying stamping tools and plastic injection moulds 
• Work with toolmakers to catch target cost level 
• Handling all the commercial issues related with toolmakers and suppliers
