Test and Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for Test and Commissioning Engineer to work at our Ankara-Çankaya located Railway-Signalization company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Planning internal and concordance tests on field and in laboratory
• Executing the tests on site and in the laboratory
• Preparing work packages and protocols
• Executing site safety procedures
• Tracking and reporting test results
• Supporting the the management of the project and working in a collaboration  with the site manager and technicians
• Providingnecessary coordination for the application of the projects
• Determining of all the technical needs and coordination towards the client rules
• Creating an effective interface between Thales and the Customer at the conduction of all the technical activities
• Examining the technical specifications of clients and analyzing their technical needs.

 QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• University degree in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics, Electronics, Electronic and Communication),
• Preferably 3 years of experience on railway transportation sector,
• Compatible with multi-cultural working environment,
• Good team player,
• Ability to build reliable relations with clients,
• Having good communication skills,
• Ability for problem solving and analytical thinking,
• Ability to coordinate different parties,
• Compatibility with flexible working hours and difficult conditions of site,
• Able to work in very limited time and stressful conditions,
• Ability to work at night shifts,
• Very good level of English, Spanish is an asset,
• Broad knowledge about railway signaling principles (ERTMS L0, L1, L2)
• Reading and understanding electrical diagrams, drawings and technical documents.
• Analyzing and detecting failures/errors on the job.
• Knowledge about power supply systems, telecommunications (routing, switching), level crossings.
• Knowledge about Interlocking Logics
• Able to use peripheral tools (Basic knowledge of Unix)
• Experience on installing signaling equipment on site
• Practical use of Autocad, MS Excel, MS Word.
