Chief Accountant

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics or similiar

·         Min. 4-5 years of experience in financial controlling,  having audit firm experience is a plus

·         Knowledge of Turkish Tax, Turkish Commercial Code, Turkish Accounting       Standards

·         Good knowledge of SAP or similar ERP

·         Professional experience in IFRS/USGAAP

·         CPA qualification will be considered as an asset

·         Very good command of English

Reporting to the Controller, the position will be mainly responsible for;

• Organizing and monitoring the daily activity of the accounting department by supervising the team 
• Preparing  monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with local tax legislations and USGAAP
• Monitoring the amendments and new developments in the accounting and the tax legislations, and ensuring their correct enforcement
• Preparing and submitting tax statements to local tax authorities
• Assisting for the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Work directly with other departments to ensure that various processes are properly interacting with financial reporting
• Ensuring all statutory and group reporting requirements are met on time with accuracy
