We are a multinational production company in Packaging Industry located in Istanbul-Tuzla. We are looking for a 'Plant Controller', who will report to Finance Director.

Job Description

• Analyzing Production transactions for raw material cost, machine labor and outside processing to ensure accuracy, adjusting as necessary
• Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Ensuring accuracy of standard costs including purchase price variance and production variances
• Analyzing inventory to meet the targets and providing analysis for scrap, slow moving and obsolete inventories
• Carrying out of site investments as well as reporting deviations and supervising fixed assets of the facility
• Monitoring and review of accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
• Preparation of meaningful and timely analysis of accounting and financial data for Finance Director and Site Management to enable them to make the best business decisions
• Carrying out preparation of key performance indicators to support Direct Line Manager and the Site Management
• Preparing of recommendations for the negotiation of projects as required
• Assisting in monthly close procedures
• Resolving accounting discrepancies
• Acting as liaison person for all relevant counterparts in cost controlling and cost accounting issues
• Identifying opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
• Monitoring and reporting the developments in Turkish and International Financial Markets
• Providing necessary help for internal and independent audit process when needed
• Engage in SAP Projects and other Project implementations
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field from a reputable university
• Min. 3 years’ work experience in plant operations by going out to the manufacturing production areas to better understand operating processes in a multinational environment
• Knowledge of standard cost systems, cost analyses and General Accounting procedures and controls
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency and hands on experience in Microsoft Office Tools especially in Excel, Visual Basic and Power BI
• SAP experience is a must
• Proficiency in Accounting and Controlling
• A high potential with proven analytical aptitude, critical thinking and strong perceptive skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Results focused and, ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Strong leadership skills, good communicator, team player, dynamic, goal oriented, highly flexible and hard-working
• Fluency in both written and verbal English
• Able to work in a complex and fast paced environment
