We’re looking for a Flavor Analyst & R&D Center Specialist who will be part of our growing team at Seluz Fragrance & Flavor Company in Silivri, İstanbul.

Requirements

• Minimum BSc Degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and/or Food Engineering, Preferably in the fields of organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, basic operations)
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Must have min. 3 years of experience in the use of GC-MS / GC-FID / HPLC systems and the devices
• Preferably experienced in flavor raw materials.
• Excellent communication skills - work closely and flexibly with internal and external co-workers.
• Ability to exercise complex analytical skills and to make decisions based on established company guidelines
• Detail & Result oriented and organized with strong initiative and sense of ownership with all aspects of the job
• Having completed military service for male candidates
• Residing in the European side of Istanbul

Main Tasks

• Conduct GC-MS analysis of required samples, evaluate test results, and report to related flavorist for further processing
• Preparation of samples for GC-MS/ GC-FID / HPLC analysis (soxhlet, extraction, etc.)
• Compile, organize and maintain test data records
• Give technical support to lab colleagues when required
• Provide technical support to production and customer service as needed
• Perform analysis in accordance with lab
