Health, Safety & Environmental Engineer,

The successful candidate;

• will work at well-known international energy company.
• will be allocated in the power plant, in Denizli, with other plant management team.
• will be reporting dotted-line to world-wide HSE Unit Head and solid-line to Plant Director.
• will mainly ensure HSE is integrated into operations to achieve consistent and sustained continuous improvement.

Typical Responsibilities

• Reviewing and accepting work risk and environmental aspect assessments and safety evaluations.
• Preparing the documents required for safe and health operation in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant rules and regulations concerning health and safety as well as environmental protection.
• Tracking changes to licensing requirements
• Providing support in the preparation of work risk and environmental aspect assessments
• Training in the health, environmental protection and safety fields as HSE Officer
• Taking active role for processing aimed at compliance with group-wide occupational safety standards as well as permit applications.
• Writing and reviewing of instructions for analysis, procedures, operation and inspection
• Preparation, review, and approving  risk assessments and safety evaluations; and monitoring the implementation

Core Competencies

• Degree in engineering and having special knowledge in the field of health & safety
• Knowledge of applicable laws and statutes in Turkey
• Preferably having NEBOSH or similar knowledge of management systems and relevant standards.
• Experience in managing people would be an advantage
• Excellent Office/SAP skills proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Living or will be able move to Denizli
