R&D Engineer - Software

QUALIFICATIONS

•   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering or related discipline
• At least 3 years of professional experience in technical department or R&D (preferably in transformers field)
• Experience in two of the following core languages; Java, C#, VB.net
• Experience in client-side web technologies (HTML5, Javascript, CSS, etc.)
• Experience in SQL database systems (Microsoft SQL or Oracle SQL experience will be plus)
• Experience in building and using web services (SOAP, REST)
• ERP system knowledge will be plus
• Having an idea about CAD systems will be plus
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Very good command of written & spoken English
• Effective communication skills
• Strong analytical problem solving and decision-making capabilities
• Self-organized, result-oriented, pro-active & a good team player
• No military obligation for male candidates

JOB DESCRIPTION

•  Writing and verifying technical, material and production standards for continuous development of Schneider Electric factories globally and keeping them up-to-date
• To be a key user and developer for the common design system and support to the development of design tools
• Updating local or global design tools based on daily requirements
• Developing and supporting web or desktop projects
• Participate in the technical meetings if necessary
• Support other related departments, where needed
• Excel VBA support for small engineering calculations.
