QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in social sciences or a relevant area
  • fluency in English both written and spoken
  • at least 2 years of HR experience (as HR Generalist or Comp&Ben Specialist)
  • reasonable skills on Compensation and Benefit analysis, benchmarking, knowledge on Mercer/Hay methodology would be an asset
  • experience working in a matrix organization
  • experience working with all levels of the business
  • experience supporting employees across multiple locations
  • experience with Workday or a global HR management software would be preferred
  • good communication and coordination skills
  • excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to set priorities, and manage tight timescales
  • strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • able to travel to Ankara & Bursa offices or abroad (if necessary)

 

 

Job Description:

 

For a maternity cover we are searching temporarily (planned assignment for approx. 6 months or more depending on the agreement) for a HR Generalist in our head office in Istanbul with reasonable knowledge on Compensation & Benefits area and excellent IT abilities to drive innovation within Human Resources department. Key performance areas will be:

 

  • Full responsibility of entire personnel process (completion of employee cycle from entry to leaving employment, including all personnel changes, i.e. promotions)
  • Being the first point of contact for all employees and managers regarding all HR related matters coming from the assigned business divisions (i.e. recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent management, payroll, training and development, system changes etc.)
  • Responsible for the recruitment process through placing job advertisements, arranging and conducting interviews, obtaining and documenting references until onboarding
  • Supporting execution of Annual Salary Review, managing ad-hoc report requests & salary benchmark requests in defined area
  • Preparation and execution of monthly payroll process (inhouse and with external payroll provider)
  • Responsible for yearly training & development activities
  • Supporting managers/employees for the Performance Management activities
  • Supporting HR manager for the Employee Engagement Survey’s, taking an active role when planning & execution
  • Supporting HR manager in line with the yearly HR plan
  • Updating and developing relevant HR-IT systems and tools
  • Support HR projects & local implementation activities
  • Acting as an internal communicator of Human Resources department
  • Preparing local & global reports based on HR KPI’s and periodic/ad-hoc reports if requested
