Our Izmir, Kemalpaşa Plant is looking for PROJECT LAUNCH ENGINEER. Please review below to see if this might be the right opportunity for you.
- University graduation from Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 4 year experience in automotive industry.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in Turkish and English.
- Must think logically, with problem-solving abilities.
- Requires product documentation development, execution skills and complete understanding of purchasing systems.
- Proficiency in project management, including the use of standard project management tools and techniques.
- Requires knowledge of technology development as it relates to new products and/or product enhancements.
- Must have the ability to work effectively with cross-divisional teams.
- Ability to organize and facilitate cross-functional and intra-team meetings.
- Strong Knowledge of automotive system TS16949 and ISO Standards.
- Requires knowledge of manufacturing processes in various areas with technical attitude.
- Strong PC competency demonstrated (Word, Excel, PPT, Microsoft Project etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsibility for managing project and sub-project within a plant
- Achieving plant project KPIs for product and process performance, budget, schedule and quality
- Timely and accurate communication of project data and project status
- Provide guidance to other team members in alignment of process changes to achieve project timing
- Customer and supplier relationship management for approved projects
- Coordinating internal, supplier and customer project change activities
- Project Launch Engineer must have ability to work effectively with cross-divisional teams.
- Project data and documentation management
- Project compliance with internal and external standards and requirements
- Coordinating on going change activities
- Coordinates plant purchasing activities (releasing the PO’s, tool orders, collecting quotes, contacting suppliers in case of volume changes, supplier PPAP tracking etc..)
- Ensuring timely response to eCT and eCT cost analysis done correctly. (VMC/Duties/piece prices)
- Close working relation to Global Commodity Leads to coordinate the best sourcing strategies
- Close working relation to OEM Sales and AR Sales teams
