Process Engineer

We are looking for a "Process Engineer" for our global business partner operating in molten metal flow engineering and technology.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform process trouble shooting,
• Responsible for the daily production process operations,
• The training of new hire as well as current employees,
• Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness,
• Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods,
• Estimate costs, production times, or staffing requirements for new designs,
• Evaluate manufactured products according to specifications and quality standards,
• Incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations,
• Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures,
• Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes,
• Equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring,
• Performs all work in accordance with established Group safety regulations,
• Participate in health & safety and quality audit process,
• Oversee purchase and installation of machinery & equipment to ensure specifications are met,
• Control BOM accuracy,
• Support Plant Ergonomics program and initiatives,
• Make relevant cost studies regarding projects on hand gather quotations estimated resources,
• Monitor daily production output and perform necessary gap analyses.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical & Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering,
• 2 years of experience in Production environment,
• Fluency in English,
• Good Computer knowledge (MS Office),
• Good communication skills,
• Ability to work well in team environment & motivate others within the team,
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen is a plus.
