The Dairy Farm Production Engineer/Dairy Herd Supervisor is responsible for the oversight, supervision, and performance of the Dairy herd most of the time including holidays. This includes all aspects of animal care and communicating Farm labors.

We are looking for personnel to be employed in Çanakkale Üvecik.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and Supervise the daily activity of the milking parlor, feeding animals, milking cows, feeding bottle calves, scraping dairy holding pens and cleaning.

• Recognize symptoms of dairy cattle illness, disease or injury and report to the Veterinaryand maintain high quality healthy dairy herd

• Oversee the daily operation of a Milking processes.

• Supervise the preparation of feeding and fodder ratios and manage the feed and livestock inventory of the facility.

• Monitor insemination timing and results

• Ensure all dairy sanitation procedures are followed.

• Follow veterinarian supervised herd health program.

• Able to work on Software Herd Management System and knowledge of Basic computer applications.

Job Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in animal science, dairy science, nutrition, or related field is required.

• Minimum 4-6 years of Experience as Diary Farm Production Engineer.

Knowledge

• Common techniques used in the care, milking and feeding of dairy cattle.

• Knowledge of Safe equipment operation.

• Basic computer applications. Excellent record keeping skills are a critical element to this position.

Skills

• Good Command of Turkish, English or Arabic Language (Read, Write, and speak).

• Should Have Driving License.

• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
