University degree in Food Engineering is mandatory

Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance experience in the food sector 

Advanced level of English 

Knowledge about Food Safety Management Systems, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, BRC, HACCP Standards 

Experience in supplier quality and food safety audit 

No military obligation for male candidates 

Good command of MS Office programs 

Team player, determined

Manufacturing Quality Compliance 




Learning all the details regarding the applied Quality and Food Safety systems (and respective policies) 

Preparing each report required by the system and preparing the requested quality check questionnaires 

Acting in line with all legal policies, rules, and descriptions regarding Food Safety and Quality, being an active team member in the activities performed for this purpose 

Reviewing product quality and food safety issues together with the production and maintenance teams by attending daily morning meetings, taking an active role in the root cause analyses and CAPA (corrective and preventive actions) management regarding the problems faced 

Coordinating and managing the actions of process control teams and information exchange in issues regarding quality and food safety 

Monitoring product quality and plant security and its environment, quality KPIs (i.e. defective product rate, daily sensory panels, GMP, consumer/customer complaints), and supporting their management in a way that will ensure continuous improvement 

Knowing the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position Stating his/her questions and concerns when faced with an unethical or non-complying situation, acting with integrity at every point of business conduct

Ensuring that the operations under his/her responsibility are performed in line with Occupational Safety and Environment regulations, the corporate Occupational Safety and Environment policy, and corporate goals and procedures; providing a healthy and safe working environment for those who work directly under him/her; ensuring that the employees work in line with the procedures and rules 

Reviewing the effectiveness of weekly sanitation / cleaning processes 

Providing the required support to ensure that the current audits and complete their HACCP validation visits successfully Ensuring that the suppliers quality meet the company product quality Providing the required support to supplier candidates that are recommended by purchasing since they will provide an advantage to the business unit by cooperating with the purchasing division in the approval process (sharing supplier requirements, organizing technical visits, preparing action reports, ensuring the required actions are taken) 

Sharing the action report and ensuring the required actions are taken by organizing visits to the current approved suppliers within the framework of the annual plan 

Providing support to the visits of raw material suppliers, and following the actions
