We are looking for an International Logistics Specialist for our Logistics Team in our Gebze plant who has the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years experience in procurement function
• Having a good command of English
• Must have good logical skills and should be detail-orianted
• No military obligation for male candidates

      JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage overseas suppliers
• Manage material planning and transportation organizations
• Follow-up import operations and customs process
• Guarantee logistical technical data (batch size, lead time, multiple supplies) and keep this data upto-date.
• Analyse requirements, check the accuracy of elements produced by the information system, generate supply requests to suppliers
• Ensure the availability of components purchased and subcontracted required by the manufacturing plan, and anticipate component and material interruptions
• Communicate with suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance daily (service rating), follow up with suppliers in the event of late deliveries
• Record incidents and issue demerit points
• Update the Average Daily Consumption
• Organise one-off transport for purchases after seeking approval from his/her line manager
• Manage and optimise levels of stock within his/her scope (materials and POE)
• Help to create instruction sheets Logistics department procedures detect and solve conventional problems that may occur within his/her scope
• Manage stocks
• Optimise component stock levels based on min/max and consumption: analyse stocks (obsolete, dormant)
• Manage subcontracting
• Record, validate and send supply requests to subcontractors and monitor supplier inventories
