Software Development Team Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Development Team Lead for our Netsparker Desktop development team who can work in a highly collaborative environment, is logical and systematic in his work and can work on his own initiative.

Brief Job Description:

-Responsible for people and project management of the team developing Netsparker Standard Windows Desktop application and core crawling & scanning technologies used in Netsparker products

-Lead the development of a world-class application used by thousands of customers around the globe

-Measure the development effort and solve any roadblocks

-Create software development task estimates based on project functional scope and technical requirements.

-Perform code reviews to raise the quality of the project

-Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with developers

-Communicate with product owners to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications.

-Perform SCRUM master role and collaborate with all team members

Essential Skills Required

-7+ years of .NET, C# experience as an hands-on developer

-2+ years of team management experience with 5+ direct reports

-Deep knowledge of .NET Performance / Memory Management / .NET Internals

-Deep understanding of OOP

-Experience in parallel and multithreaded programming

-Experience working in an agile environment specially with Scrum

Big Plus

-5+ years of team management experience with 10+ direct reports

-Previous experience with demonstrable Windows Application Development

.-NET Core/Standard experience

-Having knowledge about Web Application Security

-Basic understanding of Web Development

-Familiarity with WinForms

-Deep understanding of HTTP

-Previous involvement in open source projects

-Published a public working windows application

-Experience with Git/GitLab/Jira or equivalent tools

Personal Skills Required

-Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

-Proactive, self-motivated and goal-oriented

-Strong in teamwork and collaboration

-Familiarity with the following concepts: RTFM, DRY, GTD, TDD, JFGI
