Modatimkar Group, a leading high-fashion garment buying agency working with UK and Spain high-end retailers, is looking for a Beauty Technical Co-Ordinator.

Requirements for Cosmetics Production Merchandiser job include:

• Being graduated from universities’ chemistry departments

• 5+ years' experience working in a similar  job
  

• Outstanding  awareness about technical tests and production processes
  

• Strong people management skills, along with superb communication skills

• Keen attention to detail

• Fluency in both verbal and speaking English

JOB DESCRIBTION

• Manage all technical/regulatory aspects of our fast growing Beauty department. Working across many product categories from Skincare to fragrances interfacing with multiple functions within the business as well as customers and supply base. 

• With your extensive knowledge across all beauty categories, formulations and packaging, you will manage the technical and quality process from product to pack claims substantiation, liaising with, auditing and managing suppliers and working with internal departments to resolve any product issues. 

• You will deliver the technical aspects of all critical paths and be the expert source of technical information, always up to date with standards, legal requirements and technical innovation. 

• You must have excellent attention to detail and be experienced at completing and submitting registering new products on the EU CPNP, with solid experience in reviewing and understanding PIF, CPSR, Claims, raw material data information and REACH compliance, whilst ensuring all documentation is up to date and filed according to the regulatory authorities. 

• You will understand all aspects of packaging in terms of the copy, hazards warnings and necessary ingredient information in order to carry out artwork approvals, and check these are complaint before sending to our customers for final approval. 

• You will implement technical ways of working and best practice based on previous knowledge and experience You will use your experience to develop and maintain efficient storage solutions for technical data and artworks.  

• When necessary, you will work with external 3rd party testing houses such as SGS, managing the approval process for customers. 

• Ensuring you are always up to date with all new UK & EU cosmetics regulations, and forward planning for the future. You will confidently share new findings with all areas of the business and talk confidently with our customer base on all technical matters. 

• Chasing and managing all artwork approval stages between customer and factory and ensuring they are in line with the critical path.

• Studying customer manuals (especially new accounts) and making sure all necessary testing, sampling and approval stages are carried out as they require, and ensuring factories are aware and complaint with the customer needs.
