Structural Design Engineers

Miyamoto International Turkey is seeking dynamic, self-driven Structural Engineers to join our Istanbul office at Kozyatağı. This position involves performing engineering calculations and design using technical skills, experience and engineering judgment to transform concept designs into Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications. You will prepare plans and details in AutoCAD or Revit for incorporation into the Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications. You will perform analysis using computer software and verify with supporting calculations. You will also work collaboratively on projects with your colleagues as a part of the team. The successful candidate is expected to develop in seismic isolation design of production facilities, hospitals, high-rise and industrial structures with energy dissipative seismic devices. 

Qualification Requirements:

•             2-8 years of design experience in steel and RC structures

•             Familiar with international design codes

•             Proficient in advanced analysis techniques with CSI software

•             Strong experience in Performance Based Seismic Design (PBSD)

•             Perform due diligence structural condition assessment and performance based                retrofit of existing structures with energy dissipative seismic devices

•             Preferably master of science degree in structural or earthquake engineering

•             Ability to use drafting software including AutoCAD and Revit for quality control                  and minor revisions

•             Proficient in Microsoft Office and programming tools

•             Excellent written and verbal communication skill

•             Strong skills in problem solving, creativity, and attention to details

Responsibilities:

•             Design of all kinds of engineering structures

•             Preparation of B.O.Q, technical specification, tender dossier and similar                                documentation

•             Carrying out, participating or managing site survey when required

•             Conduct site visits as required approximately 5-10%

•             Domestic and international travel when required

•             Reporting to the engineering manager
