QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The Sales Engineer for Minerals Capital Equipment is responsible for generating capital sales activity for Crushing&Screening and mineral processing  equipment within the assigned territory.The Sales Engineer role is one of high collaboration with many other Metso resources; during day-to-day business development as well as during implementation of customer-specific sales strategies. The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers at every organizational level.

  • Demonstrates dependability and punctuality,
  • Observes safety regulations and exhibits a concern for safety.
  • Execute individual sales plan for Minerals capital equipment within assigned territory by creating opportunities and generating sales from existing and new customers.
  • Establish and maintain a good company image within territory by providing exceptional customer service, a professional business attitude, up-to-date product knowledge and thorough understanding of customer operations, needs and challenges.
  • Identify and actively pursue the development of new applications and markets.
  • Provide excellent response to end users and sales managers when taking purchase orders and answering requests for pricing, delivery, product and technical information.
  • Acts as customer liaison to Metso by maintaining open flow of communication between customers and Metso's sales support and customer service resources; and by developing strong professional relationships with personnel of all levels within customer organizations.
  • Work in close collaboration with sales management, other Regional Sales Managers, business line, service organization and Channel to achieve sales plan and increase market share in the assigned territory. 
  • Provide timely submission of monthly activity reports.



REQUIREMENTS


  • Must have bachelor’s degree from Engineering Departments, preferably from Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mineral Processing Engineering
  • Must have Minimum 2 year-experience in similar Industry
  • Native Turkish speaker
  • Advanced level of English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Problem solving and result oriented
  • Must have no obstacles both domestic and international travel
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills and detail-oriented behaviors are required. As well as strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces.
  • A highly motivated, self-starting individual with the ability to plan, organize, work under stress, meet deadlines and work independently is required.
  • Must be capable of effectively and accurately work on several projects at one time, and organizing, prioritizing tasks and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have ability to make reliable decisions under pressure,
  • Skills need to include building and managing internal relationships, negotiation skills and understanding of customer needs and market requirements.
  • Knowledge of typical business transactions including costing, pricing, profit calculation, quote preparation, and application of terms and conditions and payment terms
  • Completed military service for male candidates
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
