Türkiye Musiki Eseri Sahipleri Meslek Birliği (MESAM) is a private legal personality professional association established under Article 42 of Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works. MESAM operates in the field of music works with the aim of protecting the interests of music works and rights holders (composers, lyricists, arrangers, editors), managing and tracking the rights recognized by Law No. 5846, collecting fees, and distributing them to the rights holders. MESAM has over 14,000 members throughout the country (lyricists, composers, arrangers, editors, sub-editors) and, in the international arena, protects the repertoires of 170 countries with mutual representation agreements signed with copyright societies in other countries. Through these mutual representation agreements, MESAM, which is the fully authorized professional association for foreign repertoires in Turkey, represents and protects over 80 million music works in Turkey, both national and foreign. MESAM has been a member of CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers) since August 11, 1986.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Copyright Operations Team Member located in the Sisli district. Operations Team Member will be responsible for executing the content moderation, operations and copyright reporting process related to potential copyright violations across multiple online platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in both Turkish and English.
• A self-motivated individual who can work independently, as well as part of a team, while demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various social media platforms.
