We are looking for an Istanbul based HR Coordinator to join our busy META (Middle East Turkey and Africa) HR team to manage HR for our expanding Turkey office (50%) and support our HR Business Partners (50%) based in these countries with the following responsibilities: 

SUMMARY: Provide HR generalist support by managing end-to-end HR operations for the employee lifecycle including monthly reporting, payroll coordination, recruitment, onboarding/orientation, compensation and benefits, learning & development, performance management, HR compliance and reporting, exit management, employee relations, etc. 

Data Analytics Partner with Finance team to prepare data for analysis relating to payroll, attrition, headcount movements, hiring and recruitment cost. 

Recruitment: Manage Turkey recruitment efforts and provide support for the rest of META countries by;  opening roles in Workday and posting roles, shortlisting and conducting interviews.

Onboarding and Offboarding: Onboarding of new joiners on first day of work, manage exit process.

System Support: Advise managers and employees to perform transaction through Workday and ensure the data in Workday is updated.

Payroll and Benefits Administration:  Manage Turkey payroll process in coordination with payroll vendor and internal business ops team. Support other META countries' payroll process where needed. Work with Business Ops team on the enrollment of insurance company / pension plans for new employees.

Performance Management Administration: Advise managers and employees to navigate around HRIS (Workday) to complete Goal Setting and Year End Performance Review. Follow up with managers and employees to ensure Goal Setting and Year End Performance Review tasks are completed in accordance with the timeline. 

Learning & Development: Organise and conduct new joiner orientations. Ensure colleagues have access to relevant global learning sources matching their development goals. Work with HRBP’s to organize and coordinate internal trainings such as  monthly Lunch and Learn, technical, leadership and sales trainings and any other ad hoc trainings. Administering learning database and ensuring all training records are updated in a timely manner.

Review of HR Processes: Review and Identify HR processes that can be improved and can be aligned with Mercer's global policy and processes. Review Turkey HR policies and procedures regularly as well as terms and conditions of employment to ensure alignment with statutory requirements.

Any other ad hoc project and duties assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Up to 3 years of experience in an HR environment 
• University Degree in Business, Economics or Social disciplines 
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) 
• Comfortable with numbers and IT systems - previous Workday experience is an asset
• Preferably International background and mind-set 
• Client oriented and able to manage multiple stakeholders cross borders
• Superb project management skills
