Maxim Integrated is seeking an enthusiastic Hardware Design Engineer with experience in professional CAD and simulation tools . This position is in Maxim Mikroelektronik Tasarim ve Gelistirme Ltd. Sti., which is located in Istanbul, Turkey.

Hardware Design Engineer shall: 

• Be responsible for designing complex high-density printed circuit boards in a global new product introduction environment, developing new products that will sustain the hardware and engineering testing and making sure that it meets or exceeds the clients' requirements
• Seamlessly coordinate with internal clients, colleagues, and the project management team to discuss the exact requirements
• Be able to visualize the scope of the project and assist in development and implementation
• Perform the technical planning, architect and design boards that will support the client or projects requirement
• Ensure proper development, testing, debugging, integration and documentation
• Be an excellent communicator and team player
• Be able to independently operate in a global, diverse engineering community across many geographical locations
• Exhibit professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices
• Perform other duties as may be determined by management. 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

BS or MS in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering 

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Solid understanding of analog, digital and mixed signal electronics fundamentals 
• Hands on experience with lab tools, circuit test and validation setups 
• Hands on experience with multi-layer HDI PCB design
• Proficiency in professional CAD tools 
• Proficiency in SPICE or similar simulation tools 
• Strong verbal & written communication skills 
• Understanding of hardware development process, and test methodologies
• Open to growth by working with global teams and in a services organization
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills across all levels
• Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and ability to work independently and in teams
• Ability to operate flexibly in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Power management integrated circuits
• Board bring-up and low-level firmware development (C/C++) 
• Scripting languages (Python)
• Handling and reflow of extremely small pitch devices 
• EMC/EMI constraints, high-speed design, signal integrity, power electronics.
