R&D Chief Project Engineer

• Bachelor or master degree in engineering is required (Mechanical or automotive engineering is preferred),
• 5 years’ experience in automotive industry, min 2 years’ experience in automotive lighting in R&D or project departments,
• Fluency in English is must,
• CAD design knowledge as mechanical design and shape design modules of Catia V5,
• Knowledge of complex plastic part design,
• Knowledge of plastic mold design and plastic part assembly methodologies,
• Ability to work with multi-functional teams,
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal),
• Good presentation and documentation skills,
• No travel restrictions, domestic or international,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Within R&D organization we are looking for a "Chief Project Engineer" who will be responsible for the following functions.

 Development of automotive lighting products (headlamps and rear lamps) in parallel with OEM’s specifications and internal design rules,

• Making technical meetings with internal team, customer engineering and customer design team,
• Management of mechanical design of the product,
• Coordination of R&D divisions for product development,
• Follow up all R&D activities from offer phase to SOP, including development, prototypes, simulations and product validation tests,
• Making all necessary documentation like technical presentations, BOM and checklists.
