QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Sealand A Maersk Company is looking for dedicated, enthusiastic External Sales Executive to join our team in Istanbul and lead our drive for continuous growth & improvement. External Sales Executive position is an individual contributor position reporting to Regional Sales Manager, and is responsible for customer & new business acquisitions, building up close & healthy contact with clients through face to face meetings, managing healthy and strong pipeline as well as pricing & contract negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining healthy and positive relationship with existing & new customers.

• Search and understand the territory to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers

• Performing planned face to face sales visits as per targets

• Generating new business and customer acquisitions

• Follow up various sources for new business opportunities, projects to generate new business and customer acquisitions

• Managing the selling process to customers, including pricing & contract negotiations

• Managing pipeline, segmentation and accurate forecasting of assigned customer portfolio

• Ensure Customer Relationship Management tools (Salesforce.com and others) are updated on time and with high-quality data

• Delivering volume and other targets of his/her own

• Continuously improve sales skills & product knowledge

• Research and analyse competitive and industry trends

• Build and follow up good and close relationship with Trade Management, Customer Experience, Operations and Finance departments.


We are looking for

• University degree in a related area

• Driving License

• At least 3 years of sales experience preferably in container business

• Willing to travel

• Excellent command of written and spoken English & Turkish

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Understanding the needs of the business and of the customer

• Energetic, self-motivated and dedicated

• Willingness to be a team player

• Result-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills

• Able to work under pressure

• Able to undertake challenges and take the initiative

• Good command of Microsoft Office applications

• No military obligation for male candidates
