Production Supervisor

A multinational automotive company is searching for a ‘Production Supervisor' for its Turkey location. This role's main aim will be to lead new product development and mass production activities on the shop floor for the responsible area and product group. Also it contains leading during commissioning of the new production area as well.

REQUIREMENTS

•     Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
•     Minimum 7 years experience in manufacturing field, preferable with background and experience in automotive industry
•     ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 experience is preferred
•     Experience managing manufacturing and workforce budgets
•     Experience in lean manufacturing and built in quality is preferred
•     Prior experience driving employee engagement preferred
•     Take initiative, effective communication skills, team player, quick-learner
•     Fluent in written and oral English
•     Good level of computer skills, MS-Office
•     Able to travel when required 

RESPONSIBILITIES

•     Organize and coordinate all internal commissioning activities
•     Lead all production trials to satisfy required specifications
•     To feedback and contribute to the project team with technical process expertise
•     Assure of products are manufactured on time and according to customer requirements and company operational targets
•     To ensure delivery schedule is met
•     To ensure production capacity is utilised in best way
•     Developing projects to improve productivity
•     Take aim and lead the production for zero defect
•     To ensure company quality procedures and manufacturing instructions are followed across all production area
•     Take the lead of implementing corrective and preventive actions at production line to ensure products delivered to customers meet quality standards
•     Maintain the improvement activities in production organization proactively aiming to improve business performance
•     To drive safety and smooth production through the proper use of machines, tools and equipment
•     Appraise technological developments and to investigate feasibility of new equipment and techniques for improvements in manufacturing methods
•     Tackling siginicant EHS issue without any delay, ensure potential hazards are identified and managed. Emphasize that production never compromises safety and health, promote ’zero accident’ on site
•     To deliver EHS information to team members and allocate sufficient time and priority to promote and support EHS activities, training and meetings.
•     Maintain a safe work environment for all employees and visitors, while complying with all governmental regulations and company policies for EHS
•     Promote development of production personnel in accordance with business objectives. This will including training solutions, training planning, maintenance of required competence and employee development activities
