QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

TECHNICAL MANAGER

KEY TASKS

To serve as direct technical customer contact for animal nutrition expertise within Turkey and key markets
Generates innovation ideas and guides product development projects & services to meet customer requirements
To provide technical support for the preparation of the necessary prescription information about the nutrition & health of the animals
Training of the sales team on animal nutrition related with product portfolio & services
To manage customer plant trials – planning, execution and follow up
To make competition analysis and measure the competitiveness of the products and services
To develop in depth understanding of competing materials and complete value chain of key markets and customers
To conduct communication with suppliers and follow up correspondence. Work closely with technical and R&D personnel of the suppliers
Perform visits to major clients for project-based identification purposes,
To convey the customer demands and market expectations to the team in connection with field visits,
To organize seminars, technical meetings within the assigned market to increase the market penetration, company vision and relationships with the target customers
To participate in industry associations, seminars, congress

To guide and support for the preparation of the R&D budget for functional products & services in accordance with the coordination of Quality Systems Manager under the management of Technical Director.
To support and advise new product development & services according to the market demand and tendencies in coordination with; Quality Systems Manager and other related departments.
To set up in vitro and in vivo trials – planning, execution and follow up together with the coordination of Technical Director.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Science or Faculty of Agriculture Dept of Animal Science of the Universities
Experience & ability to formulate animal diets’ and establish discussion with nutritionists and technical decision makers is crucial
Fluent in English (2nd foreign language would be advantage)
PhD in animal nutrition and science would be preference
Experienced at least 5-10 years in the field of animal nutrition & health
Proficient with computers and applicable software
Team interaction is a must.
Presentation and communication skills.
No travel restriction both domestic and international market
No military obligation for male candidates
