We are looking for a Logistics Specialist for our Logistics Department in Istanbul HQ.

HOW WE IMAGINE YOU?

We look for a person with experience in Customs and Compliance issues, specialized in the retail and /or fashion industry. Employee experience and customer experience oriented. It is a technical profile, with negotiation skills, service oriented, team worker with good relational skills and used to work in a dynamic and international environment.

Excellent persuasion skills, Result orientation with strong analytical thinking, Good at following-up. You have minimum 1 year of experience in Logistics Management.

You possess a Bachelor degree in finance ,business administration, International Trade or related field. Proficient in MS office applications and fluency in English. Can speak Spanish too? Even better!

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

As Logistics Specialist, will be responsible of the following:

·         Following the import process of Inditex brands.

·         To ensure bank payments are made for import transactions

·         Follow and manage the process of distribution of products to stores

·         Manage logistics activities in new store Openings

·         To ensure that products are distributed to stores at right time and in right way

·         To make the necessary checks that bank transfers are carried out smootly and accurately in import payments.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-competitive environment.

·         Invoice validation of Custom brokerage invoice and related costs regarding imports using related Computer System.

·         Perform and implement custom clearance activities such as following up coming Shipment,documents and day-to- day related activities in accordance with the objectives policies and procedures.

·         Following up with the transporter(s) to ensure on time&complete delivery of cleared shipments.

·         Ensure and Support compliant and timely import transactions.

·         Serve as the primary point of contact for all customs-related inquiries

·         Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and procedures

·         Check required documentation to customs authorities in a timely and accurate manner

·         Monitor changes in customs regulations and advise relevant parties of any updates

·         Coordinate with related departments to resolve any issues that may delay or impede the clearance of shipments

·         Origin calculation, tarification.

·         Check custom duty calculation

·         Ensure correct Preferential / Origin related questions, investigations, calculations.

·         Keep abreast of developments in the field of international trade and logistics

·         Stay up to date on new technologies that can be used to streamline customs processes

·         Conduct audits of departmental procedures and documentation

·         Working effectively with Custom brokerage companies and Consultancy Companies

·         Preparing periodic reports with respect to Custom Clearance activities
