Safety Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environment, Industry or related engineering departments, 

• Minimum 2 years of field experince in Occupational Health & Safety, 

• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation, 

• Having B or C class Occupational Safety Specialist certificate, 

• Fluent in English for Global working environment 

• Excellent command of MS Office programs 

• No travel restrictions and capability of driving 

• Reside/Willing to reside in Kocaeli 

 JOB DEFINITION 

• Investigate the causes of occupational accidents and occupational diseases in the workplace and work on the measures to be taken in order not to repeat them 

• Participate in the preparation of emergency plans at the workplace, to monitor and control the periodical trainings and exercises on this subject and to monitor the emergency plan 

• Plan, implement or control the occupational health and safety training of employees in accordance with the relevant legislation. To prepare the annual evaluation report and annual work plans 

• Support the workplace physician in the annual evaluation report, where the results of the occupational health and safety studies and work environment surveillance are recorded 

• Attend board meetings by conducting compliance with legal requirements of occupational health and safety, to carry out the secretariat of the board 

• Ensure that the testing of personal protective equipment is maintained in accordance with the legislation and general occupational safety rules 

• Investigating the causes of events that have the potential to cause harm to the employee, equipment or workplace and report to the management
