QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Social Media and Digital Manager Job Purpose and Scope

We are looking for a talented Social Media and Digital Manager to administer our client's social media accounts and digital listings, as well as be responsible for the amplification of our content on the digital sphere, which may include Google, Online Travel Agent listings, local review sites, media sites and blogs. You will be responsible for creating original text, imagery and video content, managing posts, content and responding to followers, reviewers and those interacting online. You will work as part of the team who will be driving the company’s image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns and submit analytic reports every month.

As a Social Media and Digital Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our online presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 3+ years’ proven work experience as a Social Media and Digital Manager
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills
  • Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Online Advertising Platforms: Google Adwords, Instagram, Facebook
  • Excellent copywriting skills (Turkish and English)
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO and keyword research
  • Google Analytics (Google Tag Manager Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • The Location: İzmir

  • Responsibilities
    1. Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
    2. Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
    3. Set specific objectives and report on ROI
    4. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photosvideos and news)
    5. Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
    6. Be able to write long form copy for media, blogs and websites
    7. Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
    8. Work with social media influencers in such a manner that will enhance the image for our various offerings
    9. Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
    10. Oversee social media and digital accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
    11. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and digital applications
    12. Go out and creatively be able to take photos or video footage of events, daily dishes atthe restaurant or interesting stories within the resort or outside the resort pertaining to the community, stakeholders and area.
