QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “Finance Manager” for our client in Aegean Free Zone, İzmir with the qualifications below;
REQUIREMENTS
- 8-10 years of experience in finance, of which at least 2-3 years in a similar position in manufacturing companies.
- Having an Audit firm experience in big 4 is an asset,
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent,
- Team management experience is required,
- Excellent level of English,
- ERP knowledge is expected,
- Good in Microsoft Office tools (especially in excel),
- Proactive, results-oriented, flexible, dynamic, open for challenges, eager to learn & develop
- Very structured and organized with strong organizational & communication skills,
- Ability to convert financial data into business language
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Running Day-to-day operations (Accounting, payments, 3rd party contractors, import/exports operations, ensuring compliance with Free trade zone (FTZ) requirements)
Organization and Management
- Establish & maintain a robust, proactive control environment, supported by systems & procedures and tools/templates,
- Define and manage overall performance by target setting & KPI monitoring, including the definition of corrective actions when & where needed,
- Organize and manage the finance team
Accounting &Reporting
- Lead the ERP implementation project,
- Manage accounting & month-end closing processes ( legal and operational), ensuring reliable & timely closing and reporting,
- Monthly review of results & performance management against targets,
- Ensuring timely & accurate Management reporting & analytics (customer, product profitability, portfolio mix, cost/efficiency reports, etc),
- Providing financial inputs for business strategy studies and ad-hoc analysis (investment, M&A),
- Establish robust processes for P/L and Cash Forecasting,
- Manage the relationship with FTZ Authorities, financial consultants, auditors,3rd party service providers
Treasury, Tax, Legal & Risk Management
- Active management of Net Cash, Cash Flow, and Working Capital. Propose, validate and implement corrective actions to meet the targets,
- Manage the relationship with local banks to optimize banking processes.
- Provide legal advice to business managers on contractual matters & litigations (commercial, social & labor laws) with the support of Legal Advisor.
- Ensure compliance to FTZ, tax (incentive) & local regulations; including contract management, archiving while acting as a point of contact to local / tax authorities,
- Manage insurance contracts
