QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “ Assistant Technical Manager” for our client in Aegean Free Zone, İzmir with the qualifications below;·
REQUIREMENTS
- 6-8 years of experience in technical areas, of which at least 2-3 years in a similar position,
- Preferable from reputable companies with IFS or equivalent standards and with international customers,
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent,
- Team management, coaching and leadership experience,
- Have a manufacturing experience is preferable,
- Excellent level of English,
- ERP knowledge is expected
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Establish a system based on modern maintenance systems including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, risk-based maintenance and condition based maintenance.
- Monitor the conditions of the technical asset and react/plan accordingly
- Lead problem solving and troubleshooting activities on unforeseen machine break-down.
- Manage spare part stocks and purchases of technical consumables and assets.
- Ensure tight control of costs including third parties and contractors working in technical areas.
- Establishing a solid network of suppliers and contractors
- In collaboration with other functions in the company lead the implementation of Quality System complying with IFS
- Ensure that all relevant procedures and policies are understood, respected and followed at all levels in the organization. The report in time to General Manager, Factory Manager, and company Owner if deviations occur.
- Performing periodic inspections on factory and machinery
- Establishment & design of machine user manuals & maintenance procedures.
During the factory establishment period
- Acting as the first point of contact of Jaws regarding all technical areas (civil, mechanical & electrical works), during the factory construction and installation stage.
- Project management and coordination of all related parties to achieve on-time production go-live and smooth ramp-up period for the Factory within the budgeted costs and meeting the required quality standards for material & services purchased.
- Managing the customs and Free Zone process of all machinery & tools import during the startup phase, in coordination with machine suppliers,
- Supporting procurement on purchasing of materials & services
- Management of service providers during the project phase (ESBAS, suppliers, project controllers, 3rd party consultants, etc)
- Weekly & monthly updates to senior management about the project plan & budgets.
- Compliance with company & local regulations and procedures in the project area ( including safety)
