QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a “PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS MANAGER (IZMIR)”for our client which is leading in Plastic Industry.

 
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Industrial, BusinessEngineering or other related Engineering disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting logistics and procurement processes and management
  • Fluency in English
  • Good technical skills in MS Office Programs
  • Preferably SAP (MM module) knowledge
  • Proactive, achievement - oriented, creative
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills and ability
  • Able to manage multiple activities and identify priorities, meet deadlines and solve problems
  • Experience in coordinating the acquisition, storage, packaging, transportation, and tracking of equipment and materials
  • Able to understand and formulate statements of work, procurement requests, develop processes and procedures in compliance with corporate guidelines


İŞ TANIMI

  • To implement strategic procurement including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, contractor relationship management and performance measurement
  • To manage the entire process in the planning of procurement and supply activities, stock control, logistics and warehouse, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities
  • To ensure effective lines of communication between the operations and the procurement team to ensure priority requirements, timely delivery of goods, works and services using the most appropriate procurement procedures
  • To manage relationships with contractors and suppliers and coordinate contract and claim processes
  • To manage and monitor all transactional procurement including contracting, contract management, legal considerations and payment conditions, performance evaluation and risk assessment
  • To elaborate supplier selection and evaluation, quality and performance measurement mechanisms
  • To ensure full compliance of procurement activities with the relevant company directives and administrative instructions
  • To create procurement strategic plan and department KPIs
