QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Mechanical Construction Manager who is going to be responsible for the project management, controls, , all construction activities in the scope of the Project of GKE Energy company.
Job Description
- To apply specialist Mechanical Engineering expertise to ensure the efficient execution of the mechanical construction within the project;
- To Plan and Manage the mechanical construction activities and coordinating with the Employer and other project partners;
- Scope and budget project, identify method of project execution and coordinate staff assignments;
- Coordinating and directing the Mechanical Construction team of the company and subcontractors according to detailed Mechanical Works execution plan to accomplish goals and directing the integration of related activities;
- Resolving operational problems related to the project and minimize delays or unexpected cost increases;
- Interpreting project requirements, identifying and addressing design parameters and engineering problems and ensuring solutions are implemented accurately and in budget;
- Mechanical works workflow and support internal/external project members to ensure timely delivery, expected quality.
- Overseeing the site operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards;
- Managing to determine manpower and dispatch workers to the construction site;
- Inspecting and reviewing the project to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations;
- Keeping the company and project management updated regularly on progress;
- Acting as the first point of contact for the project’s and sub-contractors’ site members;
- Being responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to precommissioning and commissioning of the facilities in conformance with project specifications, Scope of Work, and in accordance with the approved Project Schedule;
- Monitoring and reporting to Site Director about details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner;
- Ensuring all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented
- Ensuring the site team to apply the Project Safety Standards and promoting safety culture among the ranks throughout the project.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Departments;
- 15+ years of professional experience in Energy, Industrial Construction Sector;
- Excellent command of English;
- Excellent organization skills;
- Excellent multi technical skills;
- Excellent managerial skills;
- Excellent knowledge in third party and parallel department management.
