GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Are you a passionate hotelier who wants to be a part of pre-opening team at the Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul ?

A fantastic opportunity for a Technical Manager to be part of the opening of Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul .

As Technical Manager, you will supervise, alongside with your team, all the technical aspects of the hotel.

You will work to technically prepare the opening that will help to make the launch of this premium hotel an undeniable success, and ensure all rooms, public spaces and facilities are ready to welcome guests.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to: General Manager
  • Be the point of contact for the construction site contractor
  • Supervise and follow up with the contractor all rejections post construction
  • Prepare the handover from construction site to hotel
  • Makes sure that fire security installations are in good working order
  • Is responsible for the smooth running of all the hotel's technical processes and installations
  • Runs regular checks on technical equipment to prevent any problems
  • Implements corrective action plans
  • Manages energy costs efficiently
  • Prepares and tracks the action plans instigated by the Safety Commission and audit authorities
  • Trains employees on the hotel's safety regulations and procedures
  • Tracks and treats any recurrent technical problems in the hotel
  • Implement maintenance directives, policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with the local legislation
  • Help define yearly technical budget
  • Anticipate and address issues related to maintenance matters of the hotel
  • Organizes and follows up security and fire prevention training for all hotel staff
  • Keeps the hotel security register up-to-date
  • Organize and apply the procedures to be followed in the event of a fire evacuation
  • Coordinates and manages the regulatory procedures and follow-up processes (safety of people and property, quality, guests' comfort)
  • Ensures that the team provides a high standard of service
  • Identifies the training needs for technicians and prepares appropriate training plans
  • Helps employees improve their skills and provides support for career development
  • Manages, motivates and organizes his/her teams
  • Follows up investment and maintenance budgets (contracts, purchasing etc.)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree ( Engineering faculty graduate )
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Pre-Opening experience
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Strong language skills, both in Turkish and English
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
  • Computer skills (Office Programs )
  • Organized and detail conscious
  • Focus on excellent customer service
