A Proposal & Business Development Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

 We are looking for a Proposal & Business Development Engineer, having the following qualifications, to be employed in our company. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

-        Analyze and evaluate commercial and technical aspects as soon as tenders, inquiries and indents are received,

-        Work closely with inside project, engineering procurement teams and main suppliers and vendors to develop best quotation strategies.

-        Investigate potential clients,

-        Meet and visit potential or ongoing client representatives regarding business development,

-        Makes market analyzes for project resources, taking into account the variable market conditions in different countries and different regions,

-        Evaluates technical and commercial risks, ensuring all are foreseen, managed, priced, or transferred along with benefits in the final tender price as appropriate,

-        Maintains proposal preparation content with marketing collateral and sales tools making sure all information is properly monitored, reviewed and submitted.

-        Classifies all bid documents received from Client, reads with a good level of understanding and correct interpretation; the tender ITB, technical specs, and other tender documentation correlating with the draft conditions of contract given by the client the contractual and commercial requirements of Clients as well.

-        Collecting customer feedbacks or claims and providing feedbacks to related departments & management. Follow invoices, payments in coordination with project and accounting departments.

-        Data entry team for item numbering and item input to ERP system,

-        Comply with Corporate goals, objectives and policies.

 Qualifications/Requirements:

-        B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Oil & Gas Engineering or equivalent

-        Minimum 2 Years’ Experience in working in project or proposal departments of companies, preparing offers, tendering documents

-        Proficient in use of Microsoft office tools

-        Self-confident and ability of professional communication,

-        Manage multiple activities at the same time,

-        Logo, SAP Knowledge knowledge will be advantage

-        Autocad knowledge

-        Excellent command of written & verbal English

-        Self-confident and ability of professional communication,

-        No military obligation for male candidates.

-        No obligation to visit clients (potential or ongoing) globally.

-        Willing to work extra hours when necessary

-        Living in Istanbul Anatolia Side or no obligation to move to Istanbul Anatolia Side

-        Driving license (class B)
