GKN Fokker Elmo Turkey founded in 2007 in the Aegean Free Zone in Izmir, It's customer portfolio includes some of the leaders of the aerospace and defense industry. GKN Fokker Elmo has facilities in Netherlands, Turkey, China, India, Canada and the US.

GKN Fokker Elmo, acquired in 2015 by the UK based group GKN Aerospace, which is operative in aerospace, automotive and powder metallurgy industries with nearly 58.000 employees in more than 30 countries, manufactures electrical connection systems for the aerospace industry.

We are looking for new colleagues to join our team of young and dynamic professionals. The candidates should possess below qualifications:

• Engineering degree 
• 7+ years experiences in manufacturing environment including team management.
• Good command of English speaking and writing.
  
• Basic knowledge of quality systems and existing processes in the organization.
• Basic knowledge of Logistics and production systems (including Lean Manufacturing) and business insight (planning, budgets, cost control)
• Basic knowledge of Safety, Health and Environmental Requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Hold Team Members and Team Leaders accountable to embody the GKNA culture principles
• Be Open and Honest when appraising and managing individuals' performance whilst supporting and coaching individuals to close performance gaps
• Exemplifying a safety-first mindset and ensuring that the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards are applied and that their assigned areas are a model of a world class healthy and safe working environment
• Developing first-class Team Leaders who embody the GKN culture principles and are readily able to progress to become Group Leaders or take other key roles in the business
• Leading and developing their teams to understand the context, mechanics and the delivery of PSQDCC targets to meet customer and stakeholder commitments
• Driving the disciplined and rigorous deployment of the Lean Operating Model (LOM) across their assigned areas
• Active involvement in problem solving and the management system using a 'Go to Gemba' approach to solve problems with the ambition that 98% of issues can be solved within the area itself
• Contributing to the Site strategy through the Hoshin Kanri (Strategy Deployment) process and ensuring its execution across their assigned areas
• Understand the bigger picture and cooperate with other Group(Manufacturing) Leaders to ensure the best performance outcomes for the entire site
• Holding the functional support staff accountable for adhering to the Global standards and enabling their area teams to meet their targets
• Ensuring the disciplined execution of Daily Management and Standardised work through the conscientious adherence to Leader Standard Work
• Driving and facilitating the Engagement of all team members
