Automotive Software Team Leader

General Requirements

• Great enthusiasm for working on Automotive Software Development Projects
  
• Master or PhD Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  
• Minimum 6 years of Embedded Software Development experience
  
• Experience in managing and coaching team > 5 members
  
• Must be able to drive a vehicle
• Fluency in English
  
• A good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently, output-oriented and ready to take self-initiative with solution-oriented nature 

The following are not required but are a plus:

• German language 
  
• No military service obligation  
  

Technical Requirements 

• Development and debugging in C / Embedded C 
  
• Good experience in uC drivers, Communication Stack, Diagnostic and Application development 
  
• Very good experience in SW Unit test, Integration and validation testing 
  
• Experience in CANoe, CANape, Polyspace Tools 
  
• Knowledge on Closed loop control (Speed, position, current) 
• Knowledge on Brushed DC/BLDC control (PWM, Sinusoidal, Field Oriented Control) 
  
• Experience of Python scripting, C++, Javascript 
  
• Model-Based Design techniques (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink) 
  
• Auto-Code generation methods and process preferably using MATLAB/Simulink 
  
• Knowledge and use of version control systems like GIT/SVN/Synergy 
  
• Knowledge and experience in safety critical and/or control system software development practices       
  

Job Description:

• Supervision of a team in embedded software development 
• Active leadership of projects regarding team members, quality, meetings and costs 
• Support Business Unit regarding extend the customer base (internally as well) for the portfolio of software development 
• Leads and contribute development and integration of embedded software algorithms
