We are seeking for a  Lawyer to join our EY Law Department in Istanbulwith the following qualifications;

·         University degree in law from a reputable Turkish University

·         Strong knowledge and experience especially in Data Privacy Law, Digital Law and Technology Law and Turkish Commercial Code,

·         Knowledge and experience in EU General Data Protection Regulation is an asset

·         Minimum 1 - 2 years of full-time experience at a company as an inhouse lawyer or as a law firm lawyer dedicated for companies for corporate and compliance matters

·         Fluency and high command in verbally and written in both Turkish and English

·         Able to communicate in multi cultural business environment.

·         Male candidates should have completed their military service

·         Good command in MS Office

·         Strong communication and inter-personal skills

·         Lateral thinking/problem solving

·         Ability to multi-tasking and teamwork

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Participate in Law client engagements and meetings

·         Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating team members on progress

·         Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties

·         Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

·         Advise the clients on data privacy and IT Law

·         Engage in data privacy projects and issue risk assesment reports

·         Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

·         Build strong internal relationships within Law and with other services across the organization
