Job Description 

• Oversee day-to-day distribution and transportation operations

 • Create, manage and achieve the overall logistics department budgets 

• Drive consistency and cost reduction through the creation and implementation of standard work. 

• Manage third party logistics providers 

• Ensure compliance with HSE safety rules and regulations and good housekeeping practices. 

• Assist in training and motivating subordinates to enhance current performance.

• Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures 

• Effectively communicates within store locations to upper management, 

Qualifications 

• Degree in Business or Transportation/Logistics Management 

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience furniture and retail industry is preferred 

• Strong management skills - includes staff in planning and decision-making 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Fluency in written and verbal English 

• Able to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets
