To support our team in İzmir, we are looking to recruit a Tax Accounting Specialist.

• Bachelor‘s or master‘s degree from relevant departments such as Business Administration, Economics or relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance / accounting  departments of MNC’s
• Strong experience in VAT refund reporting is a must
• Preferably in a multinational company experience
• Proficiency in MS-Office
• SAP / FI experience preferred
• Demonstration of strong oral and written communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Strong attention to details, experience with data analytics
• Deadline conscious and keep on detail analytics
• Military service completed for male candidates

Job Description:

• be part of the FSSC, which is mainly responsible for ongoing VAT refund process and for all finance related matters
• to prepare the VAT input and output lists
• to provide required lists and documentations to external tax consultants and tax authorities regarding VAT refund
• be reporting to Finance Director and Tax Manager and working with the FSSC team to assist the preparation of Tax Returns (CIT, VAT1, VAT2, Stamp Tax, Withholding Tax, B Forms)
• to control of all Tax accounts and VAT accounts
• to ensure that accounting records are kept in line with local tax regulations
• to ensure all FI processes are complete for the month end closing process to provide technical support for all internal and external tax reporting
• to check stamp duty, post to stamp duty book and SAP
• to assist in the preparation of Annual Report
• to ensure that monthly reconciliations are accurately prepared
• to support general accounting activities in tax ledgers including reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements
• Travel within and/or outside of Turkey if required (max. 5% of workdays)
