As a Data Engineer at Empo Otomotiv, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive insights and analytics across various departments, including HR, Production, Engineering, and Project Management. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for analytics purposes, ensuring that internal customers have access to accurate and timely data for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Construction:

Design, develop, and implement robust data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from various sources within the company.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the pipelines meet the analytics needs of different departments.

Database Management:

Utilize SQL to manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and security.

Work with large datasets efficiently, implementing best practices for data storage and retrieval.

Programming Languages:

Proficient in at least one of the following development languages: Python, Java, C++. Use programming languages to automate data processes and enhance data infrastructure.

Visualization Tools:

Familiarity with visualization tools, especially PowerBI, to create meaningful and impactful visualizations for internal stakeholders.

Translate complex data into understandable insights through visually appealing dashboards and reports.

Analytics Mindset:

Possess a strong analytics mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.

Provide actionable suggestions based on data analysis to support decision-making processes.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to understand their analytical needs and provide data-driven solutions.

Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines with existing systems.

Quality Assurance:

Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytics outputs.

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on constructing data pipelines.

Proficiency in SQL and at least one of the development languages: Python, Java, C++.

Experience with visualization tools, especially PowerBI.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.

Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning concepts.
