About the job

As a Sourcing Lead, you will be involved to ensure the highest quality products for our upcoming manufacturing project by keeping minimum costs under the guidance of Wellspect standard operating procedures and global policies. You will be directly reporting to Head of Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

·       Manage multiple Indirect and Direct material categories and develop category strategies

·       Get control over the indirect spend and actively searching for saving potentials

·       Coordinate procurement activities with main stakeholders; R&D, Engineering, QA&RA, Planning/Operation, and Finance teams

·       Build and manage effective business relationships with suppliers

·       Manage external supplier relationships, optimize supplier base and set supplier strategies

·       Take an active role in Supplier Selection & Qualification & Monitoring according to the procedures and regulatory requirements

·       Conduct quotation, contract, and price negotiations

·       Execute supplier inquiries, to follow-up supplier product quality, supplier delivery performance and to conduct supplier evaluation

·       Execute and implement project sourcing plans

·       Ensure suppliers are fully in accordance with company's sustainability targets to strengthen Wellspect's sustainable business

Qualification / Background:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration

·       Minimum 4 years Direct/Indirect Purchasing or Procurement experience preferably in medical industry.

·       Excellent command of written & spoken English

·       Good command of MS Office programs

·       ERP knowledge is a significant plus

·       Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, research, and analytical skills

·       Experienced in Supplier Management

·       Good problem solving, planning and follow up abilities for a sustainable relationship with suppliers

·       Ability to interact with suppliers by complying corporate & regulation standards (ISO 13485, MDR, FDA etc.)

·       Teamwork oriented with multiple stakeholders

·       No obstacle for travel
