pladis is looking for Procurement Specialist for our pladis Turkey Çorlu Factory.

A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:

Responsibilities

• Issue all Raw materials orders per purchase requisition and per agreements,
• Purchasing the Raw Materials with best prices, high quality and on time,
• Tracks all open orders until receiving of the related materials/services and informs requesters regularly,
• Coordinates any issues (quality, invoice etc.) with suppliers on time. Checks and approves all related invoices on time,
• Managing the bureaucratic operations about imports, permissions and customs
• Selection of logistics and customs-related service providers.
• Making the quality performance evaluation of suppliers,
• Making research in market to create alternative supply channels and gaining the alternative suppliers,
• Partner with our suppliers to ensure that strong cost reduction programs are in place on all major spend items,
• Use market knowledge to generate, and update regularly, accurate short/medium and long-term forecasts for Material pricing to aid better purchasing decisions,

Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplines,
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing processes, Preferably in FMCG
• Experience of strategic sourcing and food sourcing,
• Preferably knowledge of food commodities markets and stock management,
• Considerable knowledge of purchasing methods of analyzing supplies, materials and services, also procedures and techniques of specification writing,
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office programmes,
• Good command of English both written and spoken,                                                                                
• Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills,
• Strong demonstrated negotiation and conceptual skills,
• A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-discipline environment,
• To locate Çorlu, Çerkezköy, Lüleburgaz.
